I have a high debt to income ratio because all of my income is not reported. Please dont say I deserve it for not paying all my taxes because my company is on a tip compliance with the IRS and they only make us pay tips on per hour even though I make closer to . I am serious about this loan and I am willing to pay a higher interest rate but will not fall for any scams with up front fees. My credit is fair to good with my score appr. 640. I also do not have any problems on my credit. I have always paid what I owed and know I will pay this also. If you know of any lenders that could help me I would appreciate it. thank you

We are going to a dealership to see on buying a used car. We have the kkb price and the edmunds price to try and negotiate, we also have a set payment that we aren’t willing go go any hire than.
But what I’m worried about is the contract & loan. This will be the first time both my husband and I have ever made payments on car. We usually buy personal seller, cash down, boom bang done you own the car lol. This time however we just don’t have the that much saved up.
What are some tricky things that lenders put in their contract. I need to know what to look for!
Someone told us to make sure there is no penalty for paying early. To check the warranty. And to check the lemon laws (if its even in the dealers contract)
What are other things we should check for? We are good about paying our bills, but I don’t want something to happen and we end up being one of those people who get totally screwed by the dealership. (As you can see…I don’t have much faith in fair play…why I always just bought out right)
Thank you!
I know I sound really negative, but I haven’t heard the best stories about car loans. And we just had problems with a contract for a timeshare, so we are being extra cautious. Thanks for any advice from either experience, or stories etc…
